Out of deep curiousity......

Has anyone else besides me ever fallen asleep with there guitar/bass? This has happened to me multiple times and I wanna see if Im the only one.

I get extremely tired sometimes when I play, but I haven't completely passed out with my guitar in hand >.

i have a few times. it's awkward, because afterwards my guitar never calls again.

no. but one time i was playing late at night (my mom hates it) and i heard her wake up. so i quickly put my guitar back and hopped in bed. only, my guitar pick was still resting in between my lips and i had no covers over me. obvious much?

I'm pretty good at not falling asleep... If that makes any sense. So, for instance, on long car rides when everyone else sleeps I can just stare out the window for hours (made the 7 hour trip from Chicago without talking to anyone too!). I am, however, not immune from the drunken blackout. This was actually a great source of frustration after I passed out in bed with a girl whom, I might add, is quite attractive. I was super-pissed at myself for about a day, but I guess I got over it.

I started to stop looking at my playing, then I closed my eyes and just took a nap with my guitar in my hands, lol

I've taken one of my 10min sleeps wells playing...and kept playing XD kind of..semi-concious at the time though not proper straight out sleep.

plenty of weekend parties have ended with me passed out guitar in hand

i was actually makethis thread, i swear.... well.. by accident its been like three times, but ive slept with my lyon 3 times only because i wanted to sleep with my guitar on the bed..

Her name's Amanda, and she's pretty much the coolest lady of high school age I've ever known. Her personality can be kind of conflicting with mine: I tend to be fairly reserved and contemplative whereas she's quite loud and... flighty? She's pretty down-to-earth and likes to have a good time, so it works out.

Returning to the guitar question: Now that I think about it, if my situation were different, I would have probably fallen asleep with my guitar by now. However, I try not to play at night to avoid waking people (I need a good set of studio headphones!), and my music stuff isn't in my bedroom to better accommodate for equipment moving.
