I know there is NO SUCH THING as a Major Diminished. I'm just referring to the triads used for the harmonies. Guitar 1 uses a Major triad and moves to the flat 5th for the remaining Major triads...A Eb A Eb....are the roots to the triads.

GUITAR 1

e-----------------+----------------+---9-12-9----9-12-9+11-----
B-----------------+----------8-11-8+10--------10-------+-------
G-----------------+--6-9-6-8-------+-------------------+-------
D------------5-8-5+7---------------+-------------------+-------
A----4-7-4-6------+----------------+-------------------+-------
E--5--------------+----------------+-------------------+-------

Guitar two uses Diminished triads for the harmony. It also moves to the flat 5th for all triads..Db G Db G..are the roots to the harmony.
