Oh man, I dont even know why I shared this one, but... maybe this kind of things are goin on everywhere else than Finland too... Somehow Im just too darn pissed of today...

Well, anyway... Paleface is a one of the Finnish rappers that made some success even in the States also... this is something else..

I put poor translation there to give you an idea, if interested lol

When building a welfare state in Helsinki
they bring the facade blue collar workers from Tallinn
Hura-huh-hah-hei, where we get it the cheapest
because that is how we turn Helsinki into Shangri-La

Let's exterminate "Lepakot" and other parasites
in front of the Parliament House warehouses are flaming
Halleluijah-hei, screams zero tolerance
the security companies and FBS are celebrating

Over the society flutters the banner of downturn
with security cameras the atmosphere of fear is made
Hura-huh-hah-hei, patronizing minion of the law
sticker gluers and house capturers belong to cage

Why everyone knows Johanna “Agriculture” Tukianen
just like the homeless Romanian from the Three Smiths Statue
Halleluijah-hei, to the pyre of futilities
it's 7 Days, Idols and MTV

Teenagers have credit cards, aplenty of loan
forgotten is passed Veikko Hursti already
Hura-huh-hah-hei, get rid of it and buy a new one!
Visa, quick loan, a reminder, a default

And in spring the homeless is defrosted from the ice
to rehub walk but can't get to detoxification clinic
Halleluijah-hei, the intoxicant policy of Finland
diazepams, pervitin, subutex and Sunday

Kurtse and Puonti and Pynnönen and Piippo
reminds me of Lahti, hemohes and skiing
Hura-huh-hah-hei, a hint man's whiskey bottle
it's a fake buy, a calf and NBI

Our land's immigrant policy pisses on itself
if the traumas of Timo Soini guarantee busy balloting
Hura-huh-hah-hei, right-wing populists:
Halme, Halla-aho, Jörg Haider, Ku Klux Klan

The brain e-mail of ADHD-institute flipped
when Pekka-Eric Auvinen bought his .22
Hura-huh-hah-hei, to the shotguns of Holmlund
slaughtered Matti from Kauhajoki dozens

When building a welfare state in Helsinki
they bring the facade blue collar workers from Tallinn
Hura-huh-hah-hei, where we get it the cheapest
because that is how we turn Helsinki into Shangri-La

"Lepakko" legendary warehouse in Helsinki which was at first a place for emergency sleeping place for alcoholistics and a like and had a very rich youth and music culture background. It was destroyed it when they build a road through it.

I actually enjoyed that. I can imagine the posts that are sure to follow, so I'll just say thanks for sharing.

The world is ugly.

Ya know, I've never heard music in another language besides English or Spanish. If your translation is poor, then I wish I could understand the language to analyze myself. It sucks that terrible sh!t does happen, and its even worse that no one does anything to help. I'm an EMT, studying to become a Paramedic and Firefighter, on one of my rides in the rig, we came across this homeless man. I can't give specifics due to laws and protocals =P, but the man was an elder one, and it was a really hot day to live out in the beating sun. It was about 110, and he was wearing all his clothes, sweaters and pants, more than one under his clothes. He said it was because if he left it, he'd get it stolen. Made me sad, and he's what we call a "regular." Took em to the hospital because he had an extremely high BP and Pulse, it was something I had never seen. Scary sh!t in my books, and the hospital just sat em down and told em to cool off, then they sent em off. Made me sad that shows like AFV, American Idol, Or any stupid ****ing show on MTV can't donate some or more money for some relief for the homeless, those w/ cancer, children w/ illnesses and orphans...sorry for the language. I'm new and I'm not entirely sure of the rules here regarding posts, but it's something that truly hits the heart. It's a hard world, but we need to be and try harder. Try volunteer work to give some help EMP. I don't think the world is truly ugly, we're just ugly people, and some uglier than others. -Z

Thanks for listen and soz for late reply

Yeah m8s, you know Ive been on both sides. Ive spent 3 friggin years on streets on my black part my life and got up with one caring being. Summers was allright with all the stuff in head, but winters... sometimes we could even slept in trains running one stop to one stop without being thrown out to -25 celcius. But more times we been thrown, That was hell.

Now, I have a good job and make fairly good profit. And yeah, I throw a cash every time I see the homeless for sure (real ones, but you notice them very soon). I just hope I could do more... but I dont have resourses to get them to feets, like Ive been treated. Ive done volunteer jobs, but quite short periods. Yeah, world didnt been ugly at nature, but something bad happened and now it is ugly. Most of the people (without pointing anyone) watch and read all the stuff happened on some reality tv shows or who dropped out on Idols, they talked about those in work...same time they just read and skip the news with school murders, things like Norwegian tragedy in Oslo, Neda (voice of Iran) with "Oh, how horrible" mumbles, we build great statues, we build great buildings we spend millions to "Landmarks"!... same time we leave people in the streets and left our society to rot. That is just unconsern or indifference. What is ruled our world.

Emp.

You were homeless once EMP? Sounds like a story I wouldn't mind hearing about. I've never had the misfortune to undergo anything of the sort. I'm glad things turned up for you, we all catch breaks. I remember my mother's cousin, Renato. He went missing for a long time, and one day, we found him on a casual drive. I thought it was insane. Unfortunately, the the guy was a drug addict. We tried cleaning him up, gave em a home, food, and some TLC. He didn't change. I remember when he was growing marijuana in our backyard. He was trying to keep it hidden, but my old man found it. Some people need more than just anyone's help, Psychological, medical, and a good mirror to open some eyes.

It is true that people will turn the other way... it makes me angry. Once in a bus I almost got my @ss handed to me by these 3 tall guys because I was defending some old man they were harrasing. Everyone else was watching, laughing, and instigating... "We only receive what we demand. If we want hell, then hell is what we'll have." But there's a certain beauty in pain wouldn't you say? Depression, struggle, blood, death, broken hearts, they're all just more reasons and motivations to keep on trying.

Maybe this site could somehow host some type of charity event? I'd be all hands on deck.

Yeah man, I flipped early days and got myself to very bad state, my fault mostly...I leave the details. I have wonderful parent's, but I was too messed up and shamed that I not dared to met them.
