hey i just started playing in oct i got a nylon 6 str and then a schecter electric in dec25 christmas . i know the major minor chords sus4 the fret board pattern. the blues scale and a spanish gypsy scale pretty good. not excactly wat i want but needs more depth and flow.(practice). i just learned the modes and how they work. i can play los of zeppelin stuff like stairway to heaven(working on solo), black dog, babe i'm gonna leave u(fingerstyle), brun y-ar(fingerstyle),
i know some ac/dc power chords which are fun. and was wandering wat i should start practicing next. i want to be able to jam for as long as i want. i was just playing babe i'm gonna leave u with the metrophone at 70 its count is 8 so i hit 16 every 4 counts. i just started to get that counting stuff too. and alternate picking , i just started that yesterday.
i am satisfied with how much i am learning but i still havent got to talk to a real player yet. some one tell me how i'm doing,...wat i need to do.. i play all day everyday! up to 12 hours.. i like zeppelin, the Hip, Sabbath, pink floyd, eric clapton. plz send some tips guys. do a good deed
AND ALSO I HAVE BEEN HIGH ALL DAY EVERYDAY SINCE I STARTED PLAYING. AND THEY SAY WEED MAKES U FORGET SHORT TERM AND MAKES U STUPID . PFFFT..

well, what i encourage people to do when im teachin, is to, instead of learnign to copy the inspirations of other guitarists, make your own songs...cheesy as it is, everyone has there own style and inspiration in them...and you will find your own songs will flow better...your going to understand where your going with the song, why, and what changes you can make to improve them, instead of workign on copying what others have made...yes it makes you look good to play what others have made...but after a while, it leads down a very slow moving path to nowhere...and learn different styles... i know you may hate blues, classical, alternative, and country(i hate country) but each has its own lessons in it that, once mastered, youll be able to apply to your own style of playing...
