Police are reporting a rash or guitar burglaries across the English countyside. Suspect is reportedly a dizzy blonde with a fetish for anything with strings attached!

Nice. I'm not much for Strats myself. Too unpredictable.

Let's not forget how many great players got amazing tones out of a Strat.

The Strat is my favorite guitar tied with Charvel Model 6 and Telecaster but I'd probably choose a strat with a bridge humbucker because then it'd nearly be a Charvel.

I don't like the feel of the maple necks but man do they look sweet.

The Strat has great tone, maybe not for Metal, but pop in some Humbuckers and you're set.

This is my Fernandes Retrorocket Strat copy...its not exactly top of the line but its my first. I plan on sanding off the green paint (i know it looks black but its green) Leaving it the natural wood colour, putting a rosewood pick guard on it and getting chrome knobs and pickup covers. Ill repost when i get that done.

lmao @ Jazz and Phip! You guys are just bonkers.

Now I'm sickened! I litterally dream of having collections like Jazzy's, League's and Carl Snow's! Seeing them all at once is just like a giant punch in the face to someone with a broken banjo and one guitar :(

:D You know it!

Actually I have a confession... The first guitar (left to right) was given to me and it's probably worth £15 if I'm lucky. The second guitar is my Encore, the first guitar I ever got. The Third I won recently for £3 at Thorp Park hahaha. The fourth is my brother's but he doesn't use it so I do when I feel like messing around with different tunings. The fifth is my baby and I shall never give that one away, I'm very pleased to have that one... And that small on laying down is my guitar hero controller :P

@ Carl, Thief!! I have that exact same mandolin :D

@heather
Just so you aren't too upset, I had only an acoustic and my Squier for about 4 years, then I got a yahama acoustic that got lost in the move to Nebraska, then I bought my Ibanez in Phoenix on summer vacation. So I have only 2 guitars because the other acoustic is broken.

@carlsnow
i like the studio man. how do you navigate all the wires? lol Very nice guitars in there

Oh sure Jazz, I bleieve you. You didn't steal any of them. Really, it's just normal to be that lucky to get so many cheap or free guitars, and you did 'borrow' the black one from you're brother...I get your drift ;)

Thanks Case, I do feel better now. :) Only, I'm jelous of Carl's piano more then anything, it just looks awesome! :P

Well first of all damn Carl you got yerself a nice setup there and beautiful Telecaster!

hehe and now that it's Sunday confession(its really saturday but oh well) I gotta confess that my two classicals are prob worth $100 combined and the Strat is a Squier for crying out loud, but I do have my beautiful Jacksons and my Kelly, which I wouldn't trade unless my bookie threatened to break my legs.

Oh and don't worry Heather we all gotta start somewhere plus i collect broken instruments so its all good.

LOL @Leauge and muh man case211
+ Mici
well thankee Suh!

(forgot Fender P-Fretless, Melodymaker, 53 Martin, the , the , and and...and..)-hehehe
yeah, like can be sweet Mici but it takes a hell of a lot of work and more than a better portion of your soul! LOL !

seriously. it does and i do treasure each of these wonderful ladies of wood and wire with all my heart and half my liver, but it took over 30 years of Engineering, Recording, Gigging(since15), Touring, Mastering, Jingles, bars from hell, theaters from hell, drunk soundmen, the light crew that WILL NOT use green gels, teaching 10 years taking to much of this that and the other
and
all that sh!t to get too those beauties(and beauties i say they are!)
the Keys , Studio and the house i always wanted with the wife I've always loved , Cin. (my wonder-filled wife of 20 years).

i now am, after hell , high-water and then some .. a professional musician and t feels wonderful .. more than i can say without a guitar.
IE: It pays the bills(below)
The Gigs are NICE
The Teaching is stable and , at times, a lot of fun
The new band (rec 2nd rec) is still new and fun
and Mastering has finally paid off (was hard during the PTools explosion lol

I think what i'm getting at here y'all is this.
not to sound smug--the opposite!
but

IF you want it ...its there and you can get it.
but
you have to practice, gig, mop, Tech, tour, rec, practice, gig, practice...your ass off 24/7 365 or it aint gonna happen, Dig?
I have BIG LOVE for all y'all wanting to learn this grand and honored craft, and if i can ever help you i will.. really

just remember
ya gotta put in some WORK ...

RAWK!
