Getting a little amp. Advice?

PS This doesn't relate to my money problem. I'm getting it as a b'day present from my parents. Except they know nothing about guitars and amps. Is a $20 used amp good? (And I mean, will it last?)

I Cant really say. I need some more info. But $20 for a used amp is ok,but as far a lasting a long time,is questionable.
