Sony Vegas? thats for video edition

It seems you are really lost my friend, your best bet is to go into direct recording,do a youtube search into recording with your pod,but as i see,you really need guidance into the world of audio, select an easy DAW and start recording with it,Audacity is the easiest and simplest

@alex i am sorta lost haha.....i had some good setups(well to me at least) but other people who do know how to do these kinds of things tell me otherwise......here are some setups ive tried:

1) direct out from pocket pod: this one SUCKS....i want to get an X3 so i can do USB recording. everyone says that is the best way. i only got the pocketpod because i had $100 and i thought it would be the answer to all of my recording problems

2)direct out from my amp to the usb interface...one time i used the "send" and the other time i used the "headphone" outputs: this one was sorta ok. it got the job done but when i take the volume past 2 it gets "poppy". the "send" output was wider in sound but more choppy and static-y and the "headphone" output was really clean but super compressed and i could barely hear it

3) stick a compressor mic conected to usb interface in front of the amps cabinet: with this one, no matter how loud i turned up my amp, or how close the mic was, it was still low as hell...i set the mic at 3 different angles in front of the cabinet to see how it would affect the sound

any other suggestions???
