scales into chords?

Ok when i play a certain scale and i have it memorized. How do i begin to start make chords that go along with that scale? that's something i don't know yet, can somebody help me! thanks:)

there is the chord progressions page on this page which is a good way to go
so here's the deal
let's say C major scale (just remembr that first chord is made major , second minor , third minor , fourth major , fifth major , sixth minor and seventh diminished)
I II III IV V VI VII
C D E F G A B
Cmaj Dmin Emin Fmaj Gmaj Amin Bdim

so you could do this for any scale you know, you can also do this with 7ths etc , ...

what about for like minor scales?

minor scales are relative to major scales , for example the relative from C major is A minor(always count three half steps down and you get the relative) this is also the 6th of the major scale so for A minor you get
Amin Bdim Cmaj Dmin Emin Fmaj , so same chords as C major , so with E minor you get the same chords as G major , etc...
