I came up with the idea, my songs and stuff are so crap that I dont start to do this, but... what if you do a songs and music free, but accept donations (that donation is to artist overall, not a specific album or song). I believe its tax free, its easy to customer and so on...

any thoughts or anyone tried this?

I think its kinda like playing on the street corner.I dont know what the rules are in finland, but in America I think as long your not selling a specific product, and people are gifting the money too you,i dont think you have too claim it,but I think it still requires a charity permit.

That's a great idea Emp. Only people that like your songs enough will make a donation. And I think you're right. It's tax free. People in the software industry do this all the time.
