I don't but was thinking about it. I know I used to love reading Modern Drummer when I played drums regularly, I imagine I would love reading a quality magazine about guitars as well.

If it's anything like Total guitar it'll be good, Paul Gilbert did a 5 or so lesson streak in total guitar, it has tabs to songs and a nail a technique in a month section which starts off with easy exercises and works up.

The magazine has really gone to **** the last few years, especially compared to the other magazines you can pull off the shelf. But for some reason I still buy 'em almost every month.

Rock on!

TOTAL GUITAR... don't know if it's in the states but it's 180 pages long monthly magazine with reviews on albums, new bands, exercises, gear reviews and it has tab+sheet music for 8 songs with backing tracks every lesson.

Also guest columnists like paul gilbert, john petrucci, joe bonhamassa, tommy emanuel etc giving lessons which are available as videos on the disk that comes with it.

Also my last issue came with a 5% off next purchase from dolphin music and usually when you subscribe you get a free gift. Don't know what the free gift is now but when I subscribed it was a danelectro mini amp.
