psychedelic music

i dont know what scales to use. somebody help haha any feedback helps thank you.

Any scale! but pink floyd does some monor stuff so.maybe a natural natural minor scale.

David Gilmour mostly uses minor pentatonic

I believe, that in psychedelic music, not just melody is important. Many times, in psychedelic music.. there is background that makes the 'feel' where melody scale just took the place to make it fly and scale to that depends quite heavily of it. So im with gs2112, any scale do the job

Almost anything really.

But A good starting place is

Minor
Dorian Scales
Harmonic Minor
Diminished (Can be worked in)

But start with basic pentatonic minor or Dorian

any scale as long as you make an atmosphere with it.
