First of all it's not in any key. Its kind of chromatic. But i use this in one of my songs. It goes.

C - E - F - F# - G - A and to C again.

Thanks.

And by the way. What the purpose of the catagory selector? I see no difference whatever catagory i choose.

Actually this is the how i do it. you can do it anywhere.

e-------------------------------------------------
B--------------------------4-4-4--5-5-5-----------
G----------6-6-6-7-7-7----------------------------
D-7-7-7-------------------------------------------

e---------------------5---------------------------
B-5-5-5-5-5-5-5-7--------------------------------

Now starting a 12 bar blues in A major. Acordinging to this position.

like a major c chord has C E G. And a minor c has the D sharp. Or flat E. Besides the C and the G.

And on the contrary to what?

Looks like C Lydian with a flat 4th.

G Ionian
e:---------------
B:-----------------
G:-----------------
D:-----------2-4-5-
A:-----2-3-5-------
E:-3-5-------------
G A B C D E F G

Your scale includes an F# and leaves out the B and D. So that is where I get the C Lydian b4th from.

Just my .02 :)

I agree with Gs124. Lydian with no 2 or 7. It just has a natural 4, chromatic passing tone, along with the #4. Degrees 1 3 4-#4-5 6. Since it is a Major scale, might be better to call it a #4(Lydian) instead of a b5(blues)just my opinion.
