i didnt understand what to do once i was there.

Finally a guitar based game I can actually play.

If it uses my guitar then I don't have to worry about it being right-handed biased.

I bet the music is gonna suck.

I still hate any game that "teaches" guitar.
Keyword: Game.
Game = for entertainment.
Entertainment = Not teaching.
But it should be good for when I'm bored and my iPod is dead...

I was dissapointed to find out i couldnt play it. I think its a video game that you must pay for.

It's a page for an upcoming console game(PS3, Xbox 360,Rockband, etc), not an online computer game.

for you lazy people who cant be bothered to look up the vids yourself





hmm.. sounds like this might actually be fun for real musicians, i hope they bring it out on the PC.

Ok first off it is vary interesting.

Second Everything I say next I'm saying as a musician and a FILM MAKER.

I understand there add campaign, I know what they are aiming to get people to think about there product. Its fun its easy, you plug in and play (undertone, they are trying to get those people who hate rockband/GuitarHero, due to the fact its button pressing not real playing)

Here is the thing, I know for a fact that both rockband and guitarhero are both trying to do the same thing

Fact - Ubisoft is having game issues
these being every other contender is doing better then them. Ubisoft had its day, and it is still holding in there. If you don't belive me think about the games they put out, then think about how many people get them. I have seen the sales my self.

trust me they are not going to go under but they are hurting.

Also coming from a film maker this is a rule for life,

FILMS LIES! A LOT! (Not saying that this one is.)
Hell I've done it. It is vary vary easy to convince people about anything with film.

They may say these people have never played this guitar before, or have stop, but that does not have to be the truth. (Acting is lies, or being something your not, or being truthful to fiction.)

SO I find it vary vary odd as they don't show more game play... It would not be that hard to have these people play the game and the guitar the the same shot.

Odd that they didn't use that, HELL if I was trying to show you what these game can do for you over a few days with in 2-3 mins I think I could show them playing the game or the game play splitting the screen.

I think the most game play they showed was like 3 or so seconds in each...

I don't like that...

Ether these people are just actors who can play guitar for real, or someone F$%k up with these filming. (is how I feel)

But hey I would like to end up eating my own words becuz that would mean the game is good. So I would happy to be wrong.

I still don't trust it.

You really think they are going to make it look hard?
Make it look like anyone can do it, and anyone will buy it.

To me it seems more advertised toward people who already own/play guitar.
I don't think non-guitarists would understand half of what's going on in the videos.

Plus, rockband crappy modified $75 guitar (priced over $200 or $300)
This game, that $50 guitar on craigslist, or your custom built $4000 guitar. With Lefty support!!!!

sounds great,but by only focusing on real electric guitar players,they are closing their own market
