High E and B strings, always up
G and D strings, either way
A and low E strings, pretty much always down

I try to bend up (a teacher told me that was the way to go, and told me to use the other fingers behind the bender to help the bend) but end up pulling down more often on the D and G. Always up on the B tho.

I don't think I bend the Low E much.

Ever bend the high E down so it reaches the side of the fret. It makes the note ascend 3-5 semi tones. Pretty cool effect.

Pull on whammy bar.
Depress whammy pedal.
Vibrato up and down.

High e through D bend up.
Low E and A bend down.
Sometimes (stupidly) bend low E up off the fretboard...

On the e string I'll bend it down for some parts in one of my songs, if you do it right you can get a trashy sound that still still rings out with a screech. Found it by mistake. I have also played blues song where the b and g being in opposite ways. makes a really great sound and its easier to do that then to bend both up or down.
