BBT,
your username......seems like such a departure from anything I've ever heard you play or write. How/why did you choose that name?

Oh boy haha, this is gonna be a long week

@ Luthier, I like it, but I don't really ever watch it, Ive got better things to do haha

@Phip, Yeah in my teen years 13-16 (at the time when I joined the forum) I was hugely into heavy metal, Children of Bodom, Slipknot, Metallica, etc. Not so much no more.

@btimm, oh boy.. lets see, ive been playing 6 years I think? and I will be completely honest, It's because I had to learn an instrument, and guitar just seemed like the best, and easiest choice. Both my brothers and dad play guitar.. I started to want to take it seriously when I heard the Duke Nukem Theme haha

@Emp, ugh.. Hockey bores me.. But I cheer for St. Louis Blues and Florida Panthers... Cause they suck.

@Gshredder, No I never considered that.. If they were mounted on polar bears I might reconsider though

Do you have Duke losing to Arizona or Texas in your bracket?

Do you find it funny that Obama's bracket is already ***ed because of Pitt losing? Silly Obama!

Have you ever broken a guitar?

@Emp, what? haha, sorry man, I have no idea what you're asking me

@GS, Cocacola all the way. Last time I had pepsi I vomited on the curb by mcdonalds, a true story I always share when a coke vs pepsi argument comes up

@Tinyskateboard, I just played the songs over and over. I wouldn't say I was nervous, but I was anxious

@JustJeff, I'm sorry, again, I have no idea what you're talking about haha. after some google searching I have come to the conclusion these are sports related questions? (???)
And no I have never broken a guitar

Q: why do you think most guitar players/non-electronic musicians hate electronic music, rant over it and call anything with a 4/4 808 kick beat "techno"? Whats your opinion on it?

Im veryvery sorry BBT, I wonder if I put this on other thread, but I throw it here, no need to continue this anymore BUT

@GS2112
DONT DRINK THAT ***! seriously, that its "LESS sugar" they used aspartame that IS considered carsinogenic and never leaves your body...NEVER LEAVES YOUR BODY man... based on stuff that aspartame is stuff that is totally unrecognizable by your body so it leaves it be, not use it, not repel it. Is sugar bad compared to that? hell no.

...

eh, totally sorry bout that seriously... Stratocaster or telecaster BBT?

aspartame was behind the "Gulf War Syndrome". Seriously. It becomes toxic when it becomes hot...

BBT--is it true that you have recently become "B" and have filled in the for the long since absent "Q" at "MIB" "HQ"? XD hehehe jk

Tom Waits or Tom Petty? Oo

BB,
Where do you see yourself musically 5 years from now? Are you planning to make music your career or do you have another game plan?
Which of your guitars is your "go to" guitar?
Do you have a favorite Canadian artist?
5 City tour............which cities and why?
Phip
P.S. How many air guitars do you own and which one is your favorite?

@ Alex, I think people don't consider it "real" music because it doesn't use "real" instruments. And lets be completely honest here, Guitar players LOVE guitar music. I have nothing against electronic music, I love electronica/indie (I hate that I just used that term, but to get my point across, i had to)

@Emp, I have no practice schedule, pretty much my "training methods" are just play. Get a good jam track going, rock out.

@Null, Lately I have really been into writing poetry, I enjoy playing video games, my favourite thing to do is hang out with friends, but I live out of town so that doesn't happen much, so mostly I just sit at the computer all day haha

@emp, definitely Strat, Ive never been a huge fan of Tele's, or single cut guitars in general

@Case, whatdafunk are you on man? haha

Tom Waits def. I should probably give Tom Petty a chance, Ive been putting it off for awhile.

@Phip, I would LOVE to make a career in music, but I don't really see it happening, for a guy like me in a modern music world It's just about impossible. Doesn't help that I live in tinytown.

My Guild when it gets here GRJHUIGJHKJLHGJKL!

Oh man, there's ALOT of amazing Canadian artists, but I'd have to say me! just jokes. Neil Young, Arcade Fire, Jenell Pierson, Lauren Mann and the Fairly Odd Folk are a few

Grande Prairie (my hometown) Edmonton, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnepeg. Why? Because I could actually do it!

I have an air 1945 Martin acoustic, it rules!

Here's something I'm curious about. You have music, you listen to a lot of music.....on WHAT do you listen to your music? A MEpod or a stereo system? What's your opinion of Ipods and little mp3 gadgets?
As a person who might someday like to sell an Album what is your feeling about torrenting and filesharing? When was the last time you actually paid for a song? (this is not an indictment of you)

@Phip, no we don't really ever jam, its kinda a shame

I mostly listen to music on itunes or youtube though my computer speakers. I use my ipod mostly when I'm driving or sleeping. I think its an amazing invention, but I can't stand it when people walk around with earbuds in all day long, it really bugs me when people are talking to eachother with earbuds in, I mean what kind of attention are you giving the other person?

@Gshred, I havnt been in the states long enough to say anything

@Alex, gahh, I think I'd have to say Pink Floyd..

@ Phip, I just noticed I didn't answer some of your questions.

I used to download quite alot of music, I don't really anymore, not so much because its illegal, but mostly out of respect for the artist. But like I said I listen to quite alot of music on youtube, so even though I havnt downloaded it, I still can listen to music without paying for it.
I bought a few cd's a few weeks ago. Worth every freaking penny.

@Luthier, I have lived in 3 different houses, all around the same general area

I drive a yellow 1984 Volkswagen Jetta

BB,
Of the songs you have written and recorded so far, which one(s) are you most proud of.
I suppose the same could be asked of your poetry, but start with the songs first.

@phip, For songs I would have to say this one
http://www.all-guitar-chords.com/topic.php?id=4452

as for Poetry, for some reason this one really gets to me
http://www.poemhunter.com/poem/friday-night-blues/

@Jeff, I don't have either of those around, I will pick Sam Ash because of all the horrible things people on here say about Guitar Center

@Gshred, No there is not. There is a pretty little lady that my heart seems to be set on.. But I have doubts it will go anywhere.

BB,
I just went and looked at your poems. That is some weird and interesting emotional spillage my friend. Very interesting indeed. I liked them all.
As for the song ^^^^^ have you put that to music yet?
Do you tend to gravitate towards happy or sad songs?

Do you know how to play any other instruments and if so which instruments? Do you have any ambition to learn any other instruments or is the guitar enough?
