I started studying Jimi Hendrix , Stevie Ray Vaugan and John Mayer ... I think they are a huge influence :) (and also i have this thing for delta blues and slide guitar )

I'm writing lyrics and every day for the past year I practice playing Blue Moon...but I havent got up to what I consider full speed yet.

Hahaha, yeah I understand the workload of an engineering student, but I didn't go for a PhD, I stopped after my MS. I am only messing with you and Schecter_Player though. :o)

It's actually not as bad as you would think. I enjoy some of the stuff, so I make sure my classes/research are only in that. Makes life 10000x easier... it's still difficult, just I can focus more :)


But to be honest, I need to get back to basics of guitar and work on my volume, my consistency, and my ability to stay on time... my recent recording is waving a huge flag at me so I'll be working on that while writing my arrangement for Cee Lo Green's *** you :)

No kidding. I bet doing a PhD would be damn near impossible if you didn't enjoy what you do.

i've been working on some jazz heads and been analizing some kurt rosenwinkel solos/compositions; also a chord melody of stella by starlight and working on my swing articulation. oh and im finally starting to understand chromatic chord changes. i wrote a bluse not too long ago and im working on a tune in song form.

I'm trying not to get my a** kicked by a Retired Army Drill Sergeant and Army First Sergeant, And active duty USMC Staff Sergeant and USMC Lance Corporal, who hate the Navy, while trying to set up a meeting with a Navy Recruiter.

I am working on Theory,Just eating the whole theory sandwhich
with extra harmony sauce...

I feel confident enough(cocky alert)In my technique and speed
that I feel I need to work on other aspects of my playing
Polyryhthms,counterpoint,Chord substituitions,theory in general etc...
