What is the correct spelling of this SCALE!!??!

i overheard a musician by the name of marty friedman uses an exotic scale.... i believe its called shemo trudory???

There are many "exotic" scales (ie. not specifically Western) however I've never heard of a particular scale being called the exotic scale... You should check the scales on this site, theres an option for guitar scales up there and you can look for it.

I'd tell you specific scales that Friedman uses, but he seems to use everything :P. His foudnation is usually the same foundation as all rock n'roll though, the pentatonic scales.
