Whats your favorite guitar to play?

I've never put much emphasis on brand names to be honest.

Feel and tone is more important than name brand to me.

I really dont care about names either.Action and feel are the most important for sure.

Can you then name a type of guitar that you like the feel, tone and action to?

I know that I can't since it seems that with every guitar that I play(regardless of brand) they have their own unique "personality". Even if I can compare two exact year and model Fender Strat's, they feel different to my hands. So I can't say that I prefer this brand over that brand since every single guitar to me and my hands feels like it's own unique character, whether it's a good or bad thing.

Off the rack, the more expensive LPs and Strats are my faves. And, I always say Schecther is the best for the money.

BUT! If you have a great luthier in your town and can afford to spend another few hundy on it you can have almost any POS guitar play and sound like the best of the best guitars ever.

Currently the only guitars that I feel "at home" with are my Ibanez, and the Schecter at Guitar Center.

I have a Yamaha Pacifica that has great action. The tone is good but only for clean or blues stuff. Not a metal guitar but I like it and played it for about 19 yrs.

EDIT; I did not buy it like this I had to work on the intonation and action to get it to what I like.
