If you are planning to sell your music on itunes, you should start with this link
//phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZLabel.woa/wo/0.0.5.1.11

to make yourself itunes signed label.

there are plenty of other sites aswell who distribute your music with 5% - 30% fee, you could google them pretty easy.

also, you might want to check this site

http://members.cdbaby.com/

Good luck m8.

Soundclick lets you sell. Purevolume I think lets you sell as well. Itunes would be the easiest way to sell... though I don't use it at all.

Doesn't amazon have a marketplace for independent artists to sell music? I'd have to look into it.

Go to your school and tell people to give you five bucks for a free CD. Make sure you say FREE CD, and kind of mumble the five bucks though.

Don't say it's a free CD for $5.

I don't know much about getting albums out besides word of mouth. Do you ever plays gigs or bars or anything along those lines? It might be cool to have some CDs set out for $X on a table with a jar near where you are playing, that could help get your music out there.

Good luck with it and please keep us informed of how things are going!

Try talking to CS. I know he sells his albums on his website, he may be able to point you in the right direction.

To expand on btimm, open mics are a great place to get your music out there!! People are always at those places with an open ear and an open mind. If you have a few CDs and people like your music, they will ask for them!
