recording/ posting recordings on myspace

hey. i need to know how to basically record some guitar and vocals and post it on myspace. where can i get some simple recording equipment such as that, how much is it, and then how do i finally put it on myspace?

Anything that records and has USB capabilities. Record, plug it in, make sure it's in a common format (mp3, avi [maybe], wma, etc) and hit upload bro.

You can use Audacity to actually record some stuff - it's a free program, you can google it :). Then perhaps borrow a mic from your school if you don't want to buy one just yet.

But truthfully, you should wait until your song is perfect before you record and just show people.

Because as musicians we want to share our best attempts, and if we're given advice even from our best attempts then we can truly improve with the advice that's been given.
