look up buried amongst flames by this band, they have a sweet gravity blast 30 seconds in.

As long as there is enough negative space in this kind of music I'll listen for a song or two.

I keep wanting some bands like this to give up on the screamo or metalcore singing style and play the same video game style music with a more approachable singing style.

I think this is the most hated and missunderstood type of music there is,i love the looks on peoples faces when i cruise by jammin this * lol they hate it so much

Why does 'this type of music' have such obscured lyrics?

Napalm Death, Extreme Noise Terror and such seemed to be doing it as a wall of noise are project. I've seem Napalm Death and the tunes were like 111001111001111111000 bits and bytes. On (lots of noise) Off (no noise) drumsticks (click click) On (lots of noise...with John Zorn guesting on sax).

Anyway, since you're a fan, what's your take on the unintelligible lyrics?

i just think its sounds great just even though its hard to understand.after a while its not really so unintelligible though,you get an ear for it,but even if i cant figure out what hes saying its still producing a sweet sound.lyrics are important but the sound of them has to grab me before ill listen to the meaning,and if theirs a a death metal song i cant figure out on my own i just look up the lyrics and read along.

That's a pretty awesome song man. I'm more a fan of the melodic stuff though, like Unearth and All That Remains, when it comes to this kind of metal. But I love this stuff too. The guitar riffs are pretty under rated, not so much in there difficulty though. But who cares, most of the time simple is better.



I had a friend who always laughed at the vocals in music like this. What people don't understand is, it isn't easy to "scream" like that. Not everyone can do that. Also, not all music has to be a conjunction of intense chords to sound good.

One day the world will see that metal is one of the truest forms of music. A genre that is so closely related to both jazz and classical, in both technique and structure.

That being said, people will be people and continue to have differences in opinions and hate others for what they think and believe. Never will people realize that music can save the world from war and other human diseases - So says the man from the battlefield who love jazz :)

on a side note. i was look at what guitarslinger said about how metal is close to jazz and classical. people should look up DAATH. then they will see the true jazz metal at its prime. emil wrestler is GOD.

no.... sorry man this guy sucks but we all have our own taste in music =] who cares what we all like and dont. doesnt matter just whatever everyone likes matters what you like.
