EM add9 is a beautiful sound. wow...really need to start using these add 9's!

dude... i just (2 days ago?) started learning "everybody wants to rule the world" by TFF... Emadd9 is included. i think it sounds terrible... out of context. but if you play the chords in sequence (i believe it's Em add9, F#m, G6 (320002), A6 (x02222)) it sounds like... well, the song

Gadd9 and Cadd9 are probably my favourite chords i use them a lot

Ye, thats a Gmaj7. But its a cool progression, i like the sound of it. The add9 chords do sound brilliant. I love the chords when i write songs just for an acoustic guitar for example. But when I get to write solos over it i usually tend to leave the chords simple, i feel like having a bit more freedom with my choice of notes to play over the progression and less "avoiding notes"

actually 320003 is G Major, 320002 is G uhhh G6?

320002 = G B D G B F# = a G major with a major seventh = Gmaj7 = GΔ
