Piece by piece, I'll piece us back together. Piece by piece I'll paint this picture. All these songs left undone, All these rhymes yet unsung. As I flip through this notebook of unfortunate songs, all forgotten and forgettable. Yet one will make up for my failures, that run so deep. Maybe you're right. Maybe I'm wrong. Facing these doubts of mine, one million men strong. Who Am I? And who put me here? Alone and fragile with all of my fears. All these songs left undone. All these rhymes yet unsung. As I flip though this notebook of unfortunate songs, Mostly forgotten and forgettable. But every now and then, You'll find a diamond, and cash it in... I've wasted All this time. Searching for diamonds far and wide. And I've wasted All my life. Thinking these diamonds would save me, would save me, could save me, These diamonds can't save me. All these songs left undone.
