Me, It has to be acoustics..The reason being is because the bodies have to be so big to get the proper sound out, And its way to big, I can fret the guitar and play just fine, I just dont like the huge body. However, I do like 3/4 scale acoustics, Which is the perfect size :D

Yes, I am very tiny.

i don't really dislike any type of guitars. i would say that i am not as partial to gibson's guitars as i am to fender's... but that's more because i like the stratocaster and the telecaster. i've played a couple of epi-pauls and they are really neat guitars, if i started a guitar collection some day (god willing, i will) i will definitely have one around. but man i just love seeing a road worn (authentically worn, not artificially) sunburst strat in action...

but i also don't really play acoustics. i might get a cheap one some day, but i do have a semi-hollow body right now and i kind of dig it. it's apples and oranges to my strat

Same I just dislike full body size guitars. They just get in the way for me, I also can fret with them I just don't think those kinds are much in my favour.

I hate strats
Everyone has one! I don't like the shape of them, the neck is too thick, the tone is hallow sounding to me(which is good for some types of music). I don't think i've seen one with more then 22 frets? The decent ones are ridiculously overpriced as well. Comparing the tone of my friends $1800 strat to my $900 dollar ibanez rga121 prestige is laughable. In his strat he had some semore humbuckers. Anyways the tone did not compare blah. That is my rant, I am not a fan of them.
I do like some teles tho

@Heather

yeah, My old guitar teacher would not teach me because

1. i had a 3/4 scale guitar

2. I was left handed

It really gets fustrating.

I think that this is a great topic. The guitar does'nt matter but the neck in it self is the key. As far as sound 81/85 works great thru my rig.

I'm not a fan of Teles at all. One day, I might just buy a Strat but if so, that day will be a LOOOOONG time in coming!

I'm going with Carl here. A lot of guitars that one might hate, another might love and cherish and be able to make great music with. This goes for everything really. Even beyond instruments if you think about it.

I don't actually hate any guitar types or shapes but I KIND OF dislike Stratocaster. I've never played one so I can't say they're BAD guitars. In fact I think they're quite alright, but I just don't like them. I Love Teles, though, they're my second favourite after Les Pauls.

I 'dislike' overpriced Martins and Taylors.

I like a guitar that doesn't need to be fussed over re humidity, etc. I don't care about the appearance of a guitar...for me it's all about sound and durability.
