Hey guys, well I'm finally off to Iraq. I leave for Al Asad on Saturday. I'll prolly be there for a couple days before I move into Bagdad. I'll be staying at Camp Liberty. I already placed my guitars in good hands, though I miss them already. But I do plan on getting myself an acoustic sometime while I'm over there. Anyway, best of luck to you all.

Rock On!

Hey GS,
Thanks for letting us know. We'll be thinking of ya. Any idea how long you'll be in Iraq? Drop us a note if you get a chance from time to time.
You ARE the "guitar hero"! haha
Be safe!

@Phip - I'll be in Iraq for a year man. I'm fairly certain I'll have internet access so I'll try to stop in every now and again.

@Musical_Magic - Thanks dude!

Hey guys! I finally made it Bagdad. Flew via chopper from Al Asad. They got hit a few days ago. But one or two mortors a day is the norm around here.

@GS

Don't let the locals fly you out when your tours over, those flying carpets play hell with your sinuses (they never get vaccumed)!

Keep that head down good bud!

Haha thanks for the tip dudes. I think they got more to worry about though. I was only given 30 rounds for force protection, if I go outside the wire I'll get more, but I guarantee 30 kills with 30 rounds.
Rock on!

You guys are funny. I got mortared today for the first time. It was pretty intense. I got such an adrenaline rush, it was awesome! Anyway, nine more days until I order my guitar.

Rock On!
