What guitars do you have

My first Guitar was a Takamine eg 7c acoustic electric I knew so little about guitars that i played it for years before I realized the truss rod was not adjusted correctly. I lost it in a car accident the guitar was worth more than the car. When my friends found out it was destroyed I was given...a Joe Poss Epiphone, two Yamaha acoustics and I finally bought a cheap martin acoustic electric DMX i think (do not buy this guitar it is made of press board) I took it back to Sam Ash and picked up a guild for $300 less than M.S.R.P. because I demanded my money back for the Martin.

Phil you can love your guitar but don't LOVE your guitar. Just kidding. What is the neck made of do you know??

HAHA! True lol. Hm...I'm not sure, it smells suspiciously like sandalwood but I've never heard of it being used in guitars.

I also forgot to mention I have a Fender Squier but since thats so uninteresting I forgot it lol.

i have a earl accoustic and i love it! (but not as much as phill loves his guitar lol kidding) and another old accoustic both steel strings, and a little clasical guitar that i just play for laughts and during add breaks and last but not least a fender "something" (can't remeber) electric. all not hugely espensive (a nice way of saying cheap). but i like em.

on the subject of guitar timber. here in australia we have this little island to the south that claims to part of OUR commenweath called Tazmania. any way apperently there is a tree there called the KING BILLY PINE (i no wat a great name for a tree!) and it is the best guitar wood ever. here's some more info if u want to no more. http://www.abc.net.au/7.30/content/2006/s1820643.htm

I recently have treated myself (with ym own money - poo :( ) to an American Fender Stratocaster. It is da BOMB. Its a classic sunburst design which is of course awesome. Its got three pickups AND a humbucker so I can get clean strat soudns and dirty sounds. Beautiful piece of handiwork, and sounds like heaven or hell all in one instrument...ah, guitar love :).

I have a Martin DM (acoustic), one of the cheapest Martins, but well worth the money

I have three guitars. I have a Yamaha ERG121C Electric that has great action. I also have a 1968 Harmony Stella 3/4 acoustic which sounds very bluesy with nylon strings and an Aria acoustic with steel strings which I love to play.

i have a classic fender stratsocaster! Its cream and white and i love it i also have spainish classic guitar !

i got 2 acoustic guitars,1 classical and 1 electric guitar...my guitars are only cheap...the 2 acoustic guitars cost only like $75,the classical guitar cost $50 and the electric guitar cost $90...i have a digitech rp250 multi effects pedal and a zoom 510 dual power driver...XD

I'm new to the post but I have an Ibenez AE180 accustic, American Strat and a
PRS, all great guitars for what I use them for.

I have 4 guitars my self I have a strat that i tore apart and put it back togther my way (never care for fenders)but i like this one,i have a custom that was made out in vegas for me by Flying guitars,i also have a Triumph ,kinda a les paul,and i have a RR1 by jackson which i play the most,dont get into the mellow stuff to much,but respect it.I used to have a Ibanez guitars but the way i play and where the volume nob is was wierd for me i pretty much turned the guitar down when i was playing which drove me in sane but besides that the action was great!

I have a just joined this forum and I just wanted to put in my input. I have a Jackson 6 string ele., Ibanze 6string and 7 string, 3 Fender 6 string one with a roland pick up. A washburn Acoustic, a Ibanze 8 string guitar. I play mostly on my hellcat though is it a very nice playing guitar. I also have 3 line 6 guitars that are nice but have to use batteries or plug them in so I dont use them as much.

wow batteries? that would be tought,i bet it eat's em ,no way to hard wire? a supply?lithium? or is that what it uses? 8 string i have never played one but i think i would enjoy it in a way that is wrong to my honesty to my self....lol..really.

i got an ESP/LTD EX-50 explorer, it was my first guitar and i love it more than my girl hehe....jist kidding...i also have a Washburn X-50 with active emg pickups (81 in the neck and 85 in the bridge), a jackson dinky a really old 12 string custom shop acoustic and a Hartke 4 string bass....

Ya the line 6 guitars use batteries or you can plug them in though a special box that comes with it o and you have a tsr cable you have to use too. They are a real nice guitar and they have some nice tones I do like them but it is a hassle to always plug them in or replaced the batteries. I do have the Pod xt live and with the rj 45 cable you can use with it to hook up and then you can just power it though that connection. They do have real good tone though and for recording it is very clean and clear. I love my hellcat and my 20 year old Ibanze rg 550. I put DiMarzio double whammy in the brigde postion and a DiMarzio (I cant remember the name of it) in the neck. This was my second guitar and I bought it new.

Wow Blackwolfe i did know ibanez had the rg550 model that long,i played ibenez for awhile but again the damn volume knob was to high and i kept turning the volume down when i played it drove me nuts!!!!!

Ya I got it from a music store that was going out of bussiness back in the 80's I dont remember what year. I found it there and they were not even being sold yet. It is a japan model. The model number is gone now and I have changed a few things on it. I also have a dessert yellow one the was released back then. It also has been changed around a little too.

ibanez rg350dx, ibanez rg5ex1, schecter c-1 hellraiser with emg's, alverez acoustic.... the schecter is the best of the bunch by far

I go with my Gibson LP Special. Totally awsome. I've also got a Cort electric guitar and a really small, no brad, bluesy guitar etc. Also just about buying a new one...

Hello to everybody. I am as new to guitars as they get. I have acquired an electric/acoustic guitar for my beginning guitar. it is a Dean guitar, i do not know the quality of these instruments, but it seems like a very nice quality guitar. I am pleased for my first one. also welcome any input on this guitar. it also has a built in electronic tuner.

Surprisingly, my Les Paul is GREAT for standard tuning heavy metal. not drop d or c though. The Ibanez and Godin are amazing for drop c and d though. The last two are not bad, but the acoustic doesnt stay in tune as good.. it is old.

Ibanez GRX40 (ok guitar, but I have a crap amp, so it doesn't sound great)

Yamaha FG730S Acoustic (this one is really good, and I just got it.)
Olympia by Tacoma OP-2 (a not so good acoustic. It's 3/4 size, and it is "classical" shape, so it has bad resonance. The Yamaha is a dreadnought shape, and full-sized, so it has a bigger sound.)

I have an acoustic Yamaha FS-310 (I think that's the right model). A very good guitar for the price, but I am looking to upgrade to a Martin or Taylor.

My electric and main playing guitar is a Schecter C-1 Classic (in transparent blue). I play it through a 150 watt Line6 Spider III. My friend and bandmate has a Schecter C-1 Plus (sunburst-ish finish), so we look pretty cool when playing :)
