Is this site a good tool to master most of the chords? A online teacher told me that I should atleast know alot of chords and how their sound ect before I can easily start writing music. Crazy Spanish Alternative instrumental music that is. I know my basic chords?

This is better than most chord books I've seen. There are a lot of great chord tools on here. Just check them out!

I got into the jazz band my senior year of high school, but I didn't know anything about jazz or jazz chords. I used this site to quickly expand my chord vocabulary, which has helped me in all other aspects of playing. In my opinion this is one of the best sites to learn chords at, all you need is a little direction.

Whoa! You played in a jazz band? How was it? I mean like, what instruments and how hard was it to play jazz guitar?
