im not really liking the fretboard that much because i look at the inlays on the fretboard so its hard to see where im going, im sure ill get used to it though. also the battery was loose at the back, like a screw was loose so im holding it in place with some sticky tack haha.. but i love it alot and its so easy to play on

@GMG,
So tell me how that seven string is tuned. starting at the thickest string what would be normal for a seven string guitar?

P.S. I really like the look of that beauty! So if you want someone to break it in for ya just send it over here! Takes a while to properly break in a guitar so I might have it for awhile. LOL

i think the thickest string would be a B. thats a sweet guitar but im not really into metal and crazy guitars like that

Yeah, "the standard" idea for a 7-string guitar would be to have it a 4th below the next. So if the guitar was in 7-string standard, it would be tuned as BEADGBE. I don't know very much about 7-string guitars, but i think that the point is to avoid down tuning, so i'm not sure people really use a lot of other tunings.

007th :D my friend just bought a seven string too, they're great to play on.

@Phip, My friends tuning is A, E, A, D, G, B, E. Which adds some great bass when playing metal.

this guitar is tuned in d standard with the low B (which is the seven string) tuned down a whole step aswell so it would be from the lowest thickest string A-D-G-C-F-A-D i use 8-38 strings with it to haha. and a 52 for the seven string.

also its a great guitar for shred cause i barley have to fret it to get sound from it, so if i were to play some legato i wouldnt have to pick at all. its really fantastic and i would recomend it to any shredder/metal head

woah. thats crazy low gauge. And looks like i was wrong about the most people playing 7-strings in the standard tuning....
