www.ultimate-guitar.com have a good one i think. There's not really much to know about funk though. Turn your distortion off and turn your guitar volume and tone controls up. Use a 16th beat rhythm, use plenty of fret hand muting, and stick mostly to the minor pentatonic. For chords, stick to partial barre shapes on the top 3 or 4 strings and use chords such as 7ths and 9ths. Keep your hand moving up and down otherwise the funk will sound a bit sloppy. listen to the album bloodsugarsexmagik for good ideas, particually "mellowship slinky", "the righteous and the wicked", "apache rose peacock" and "sir psycho sexy".

i suggest buying the tab book. it's useful because very few internet tabs give any ideas about rhythm, which funk is all about.

also check out that bit of tab i put on the crybaby post. you don't necessarily need a wah to get funky, but it does help. use could also experiment with chorus and phasers.

hope this helps. if you don't understand anything then ask :)
