okay so i have a progression that goes Am Em Am Em B7 and repeats. so should i just play E harmonic minor throughout the progression? or use E natural minor and only use harmonic minor on the B7? or am I completely mixed up and its in A minor
and if anyone wants to tell me which modes would sound good over which chords they can

another question, is it possible to get strumming patterns on Guitarpro?

You can either play E harmonic minor, or switch from natural to harmonic. Or if you play it in A the whole, because of your B7, it's gonna be A dorian harmonic, so the 4rth mode of E harmonic... so A B C #D E #F G A.
