I want to know how to record a video of me playing on Youtube but I want to add audio tracks over it. Does anyone know how to do that?

Also if anyone knows how to do those split(sync) videos? I would greatly appreciate it if someone showed me how to do it.

You could use Windows Movie Maker, and add audio tracks over what you're playing. Not sure what you mean by sync videos though.

By sync I meant like a split screen video with syncronized sound.

I'll try windows movie maker

Thanks!

Ok so I've decided to record a song with split screen video. If anyone could please tell me of any free programs to do this I would greatly appreciate it.

Again, Windows Movie Maker has a number of effects for such things. It's almost always automatically installed to the computer once you install Windows.

I did some research and discovered that my version of movie maker excludes a side by side feature that is found in older versions. I have Vista so I am not sure which version I have.

Maybe you guys have older versions with a "Side by Side effect"

Anyways I tried add-ons but they don't work on my version.

I figured how to sync them but the clip fades in.

Does anyone know of a combination of effects that will split the screen?

I figured it out. Apparently there is an add on that does the split screen on Windows movie maker 2.6

Here's a link to the video that explains the process in detail.

What a way to celebrate my 1000th post with some self-enlightenment! LOL.
Yes I barely have 1000 in like four years.
