Tom Scholz(Boston) Sound

Does anyone know a good place to start for the Boston guitar sound?

There you see that its hard work, much experiment on the studio, theres no plain clear answer...

I think secret in his tone is in equalization... try to get six band equalizator and push it up in 400 and 800 hz. and little up in highest 32000...

just speculations thou, but might be near. Also guitar and amp affect to it too...

ye, tom scholz makes his rocktron amp, he desgined it made it, just buy it./

look for the old rockman mini amp. it was a knock off of the sony walkman. and go to wikipedia it will tell you much about the products he made.
