I've got an Stratocaster mex and I'm thinking in buy the Peavey 212 Valveking to play some concerts, do u think is enought or should I try to have the 4x12.... the problem of this is the cost of the head... I can't pay more than 500€ for everything. The 4x12 valveking is 'bout... 250 but the head is too expensive, do u know any other head that works fine with that? Thanks for everthing x)

You probably don't need the 4x12. Depends how powerful the head is. I've never played one of those before. I've got a Marshall VS 100 Head, and a 4x12, and honestly It would have been so much easier, and really not that much of a sound difference if I had gotten a 2x12. SOOOO much easier to lug around than a half-stack cab.

Thanks! But I still have a doubt then... it is better to have more power at the head? Is there where I should get something better?
