i was just wondering what you guys preferred neck specs for electric guitars are?

mine are:

-A "V" profile (I'll take sharp or soft(my Tele's soft) seeing that there hard to find unless custom ordered)
-maple neck solid
-maple fretboard -part of neck not separate- (i like ebony too)
-i like the low radius like fenders 9.5"/241mm
-meaty frets like medium jumbo
-scale Length ~ 25.5"/648mm
-# frets doesn't matter
-never really cared about joint type but i guess bolt on

I like maples too but more In fretboards I prefer rosewood.
Thick necks like les pauls just dont fit to me, so I prefer thin ones... Wide frets...or how you say that is bit difficult to me to play chords especially barre chords.

Keep on topic folks!

I like a VERY smooth, rosewood neck, rosewood finger board, U contour
Bolt-on, neck confort contour and, Biggest frets possible...OH, and i like thick necks, even though my hands are as small as a 3rd graders....(I'm 13)

So...who just figured out that i'm a luthier? xD

SATIN FINISH! I absolutely love a satin finish on a neck. Also, it has to be thin, at least 24 frets, and NOT bolted on. Extra Jumbo frets too.

they use regular tuning but the are better at the lower frets for wide streching, thats why the frets are all wierd

I like Jackson Necks THE ORIGINAL COMPOUND RADIUS NECK that started Randy on a shred revolution. EVH used Charvel guitars in his Van Halen Days wich used the same Fretboard.
