i recently bought a fender classic series and have only just starting playing electric after practising mostly on acoustic. the question i need answering is when i play a lick or even a chord progression i get a slightly out of tune echo through my pignose amp at the end of the final note or chord finish now i am sure my guitar is tuned right so y am i getting this not clean noise?.its less so more up the frets though?.I tried to play the intro to bowies rebel rebel today now i know that of by heart but some how i got that slightly out of tune noise after holding the last note.I hope some1 can help thanks

i hope you're not meaning "distortion" by this not clean noise otherwise there might be reverb or delay you have put on but i don't think this is the case since you have no pedal.
is it with all notes or only on some frets?
maybe your stringaction is too low so you get fret buzz all the time?

i don't really know so i hope others will

no its not a distortion problem it could be the string action thing but how do i change it your right its like a buzzy out of tune ending to the notes.

if you have a normal stratocastertype guitar you have at the bridge those six rectangles with two things on it(don't know how it's called , if you turn them upwards the pedalthings go up(rectangles) and the stringaction is higher , don't know if you understand this crap i'm trying to say but if you don't understand just say so:p

normally you get a thing to turn it with with your guitar , it's an L-shaped iron thing , if you don't have it you could even do it with your fingers(you better first remove the strings or just loosen them so they don't pop in your face)
