Just got a new wah pedal today. Does anyone know any easy solo's that use a wah pedal?

There are loads of different uses for a wah pedal. My very first post on here was about different ways to use the wah.

This is what I said.

I like them a lot. Especially to filter through. Gives a more raw, snarling kind of crunch to your sound. I've been working with mine for a week or so now [I also recently blew the dust off my pedal Tele, haha]. Working on a song with it. I will most likely have it up tomorow night if school gets canceled *crosses fingers*. Yeah, PA is getting hit from a huge ice storm. FROM THE SOUTH yet to boot lol.

Me and some friends did "She's Only 18" by the Red Hot Chili Peppers for a school talent show once, and it uses wah throughout the solo. It's pretty easy and fun to play as well.

Also, Cream's "White Room". Eric Clapton does some really cool wah fills and solos in that song.

i like to use it to give power to a bridge, intro riff, whatever.. i start with a fast repetitive part with the wah on bass an play the part again and again while slowly goin all the other way with the pedal

You can use it as a tone control(One position), Express as you bend a note, Use it the old fashion way. Use it Percussive (Voodoo Child esque)

Wah-Wah pedals are one of those effects that can get old, but not if you use it right.
