Pretty clever lyrics, albeit a little dark for my taste, nice job though. Sounds like the kind of song the Dead Kennedy's might play if they were around for World War 2.

I must admit i did not write all of this. My dad's bestfriend wrote parts of this, sadly he died not to long ago.

So i decided to finish them.

I like it. It'd sound better with a complete band [duh]. But yeah I like it.

@ Patleh,
I also like the lyrics (which are yours and which are your dad's friend's?) I'd like to see you expand on them instead of repeating. As far as the solo goes it would be cool to use an electric guitar with a lot of feedback and effects to create the sounds of battle like divebombers and explosions. (don't know if you have an electric or the experience). Now that the war is long over and your dad's friend and sooooo many vets have passed on it would be interesting if the song ended on a long whimsicle sad sustained note. Just some thoughts.

a lot of people tell me i hold it wrong =[. but when my father started teaching me to play guitar, i guess he never corrected me and it's now second nature to hold it like that.

also i'm making an electric version(hopefully tonight or soon) but my chord is broken, getting a new one tonight hopefully.

It doesn't matter how he holds the guitar, as long as he can play it. The point in a guitar is to play it, not to be judged over the image.

What strings are you using? They sound like the plastic ones. No offence but you need to keep practicing. Mainly with your timing.

Keep it up though.

well im not saying image, it effects your playing if you play like that, chords especiall bar chords are hard if you hold it like that.
