Does somebody know wich scale is being used in Mellowship Slinky in B major from the Red Hot Chili Peppers? I used the reverse scale tool but that doesn' t work. After the intro another scale is used

I don't listen to them, since no one's replied to this either, challenge yourself by trying to figure out which scale it is.

I should expect all of you to be doing this, but you shouldn't rely on everyone else to find you the scale, otherwise you'll never improve on your own.

If you're not sure of the scales and modes inside them, then check out my lessons on that. Hopefully that'll make things easier.

do you know what chords are in the song? if you do then plug it into chord to scale and it will break down the choices.

Not point out the obvious but have you tried B major? it's right there in the title and I think that's the key your looking for.

It's been a while since I've played that song, but I think it's in B minor

I listened to that song right before I saw this post. Crazy.
