ok, i want my humbuckers to sound like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OkMAcMm8vZo(Not exactly the tone, and all that of a gibson. i just wanted it to sound like it has alot of gain...With that real dirty sound)

insted of sounding like its sorta single coil p-90ish, with that not so dirty sound, you see what i'mm saying?

Its a two wired covered humbucker. two of them

the wiring is:

very simple, i plan on upgrading it(Its on my homemade guitar)

Also, some (a lot?) of the dirty sound is coming from his amp. He's playing a Peavey Classic 30, a tube amp, so he's getting some of the natural overdrive of the tubes.

if you look at the more info tab of the vid,he states he is using
a marshall powerbrake at half volume. meaning his amp is f-ing
cranked !

you still have humbuckers...they just aren't as "hot" as others.
i understand what you mean by saying it's not dirty enough. my
buddy has an epi lp100 with humbuckers and it's not very dirty
at all, but, he's also playing it through an epi valve jr at a
bedroom volume so the only tone he'll ever hear is a clean blues.

what kind of amp are you using ? some amps are made and voiced to
be played clean which could be the reason yours don't sound dirty
enough.

i have a vox ad30vt (just for example)and if you play a single coil
strat through it on the high gain brit od setting,it will still sound like high gain metal.

a humbucker pickup needs two magnets and needs to be wired in Series. if you have just one magnet wired wide all you have is a soapbar pickup (a p-90 being the most famous brand).

now if you can't get it DISTORTED AT ALL i highly doubt it is your amp (unless you made it t0o) i have never seen a amp that can't be distorted even those little 1 watt Cig box amps can get there. so I'm going assume you wired it weak because even single coils distort if i remember correctly you need about 2,000 (at lest) wraps with the copper.
