Dyl4N, I think the "Slow Hand" name came up because Clapton would change his strings (apparently slowly) in the middle of a show if he broke them. He can play quite speedily.

I didnt know that...some ppl told me that it was coz when he plays slowly( of course i know he can play really fast) he sounds really nice...is just an awesome sound when he plays slow...but however thnx for the info...i really didnt knew that
