Pulp Fiction is pretty awesome.

And on the topic of sports:

I really like to play basketball, I'm tall and lanky, and have leaping ability that is above average at least. I played football through my sophomore year of high school, but I couldn't handle the d-bagginess of the new coach, which is really sad because I had loved playing before that year. I've never played organized tennis (too small of a school to have a team), but some friends and I have played against each other fairly seriously (broken rackets ensued). I played soccer when I was quite young, so I don't remember much, but it was usually pretty fun.

I love playing basketball, but my body style is kind of opposed to it. I'm short, and not quick at all.

I was ok in grade school, since I usually was pretty quick thinking and made smart plays, etc. It also helped that our center was 6' 2", 200 pounds in eighth grade, and we had two guards that were really quick and awesome shooters and ball handlers. Passing it to them was an instant assist for me. :P

LOL I told you cops are slow.

One day us Catholics will take over the world and you best hope the Spanish Inquisition doesent spot you.LOL

I love soccer because its truly a free sport. THere are few rules and the world loves it.

@ Soyelche: France is a beatiful country and so are Italy and Spain. Couldnt say the same for the UK although they are very polite and just plain charming.

Everyone at sometime has to outrun cops. Part of growing up. We outran cops on a New Yrs party then took a piss on an evergreen (only to find one of our friends had ducked under the tree to hide)

@Crunch: Playing for a-hole coaches sucks, believe me I know. But I loved playing football in H/S and you can never get back to that level playing pickup games. Tough it out if you can. I know easier said than done. My gradeschool basketball coach played for bob knight and in the 4th grade actually fired a chair across the gym. I got p/o'ed and quit (7th or 8th grade)...now i wish i hadn't b/c once i got to h/s I was able to dunk @ 6'1" but became a streetballer

Nothing wrong w/ drinking...Just be safe w/ it.

hmm drinking never really ends well for me. it mostly involves me climbing things, getting on top of bus shelters with traffic cones on my head then jumping in bushes, and then waking up inside a suitcase under a bed. pretty funny at the time but god it hurts in the morning.

and another sport to add to the list is badminton. i was a bit crazy when it came to that until i ripped my latisimus dorsi from a smash shot. then i had to retire for the south east england team so i havent really played since.

My name is Anthoni. I'm 18. I attend college at Mississippi University for Women, but I'm a guy.

I'm a soical retard.

I've been told I have sexy lips and hands (weird I know).

Mothers love me.

I'm paranoid about wrists (like the bottom side; there's veins and shiz in that general area).

I'm very analytical.

I too, have eaten dog food.

I'm a huge dork, and I like dorky women.

I love supporting local music.

Although I hate saying this and I feel terrible about, I don't like "Stairway to Heaven." Its so long and I get distracted.

When I get excited about something, I tend to take it too far.

I love food.

I can't write lyrics to songs for anything. I have tons of music just waiting for words to make them complete.

They've been admitting men since like the 80's, but its still mostly girls, which is cool. I went there because they offered me the biggest scholarship ($43,000 over 4 years). They also have the 2nd best nursing program in the state of Mississippi and thats my major.

So... what's everyone's intended career?

Most of you already know mine, and that's to compose for films and games. I'll work as hard as possible until I get that job.

I am currently looking for a band that I would want to play with. I have turned down a couple of good bands(metalcore) so I am pretty confident. I really want to get on the road. There are a lot of crap bands out there that dont take their music seriously I think thats the problem with bands they dont care about playing good music and rocking out.

Lead Guitarist/Songwriter for my band. I'll work as hard as possible (eating chips and sipping mountain dew while recording in the studio) to make the next Awesomest album of all time.

I would love to be in a successful (successful enough to make a living) rock band, but that's a fairly unrealistic hope. More academically challenging routes include nuclear physicist, computer engineer, and many other math/science intensive things. I wouldn't mind being a writer either, and that's something I could do while having another, supporting job.

In response to CTown: Our legendary basketball coach retired after my sophomore year, thus the school hired a new one. He's turning out to be kind of a dumbass as well. I'm pretty sure I played more my sophomore year than my junior year and we went 1-18. He started his golden boy buddy who hadn't played basketball since the eighth grade-he had at least 3 times as many turnovers as he did points (seriously). It was just horrible in general. I don't even know if he'll start me this year, and not to sound airheaded, but he should have last year; I am twice the player that two starters were. I'm 6'3" 170 lb, can dunk from the wing, have 3-Pt% of about 40, mid to short is plain money, free throw percentage around 90. He actually refuses to play me at any guard position, even when our starter is hurt and the back-up is fouled out and he has to put in the sophomore that's just there to suit: "Why can't you be a point guard?" He actually said that to me at the aforementioned point, I wanted to stab him.

I think he doesn't want to play me because I don't play football, which he's an assistant for... That probably makes the rest of what I've said make a little more sense.

I truly want to be a welder/carpenter, but my counselor would sh*t a brick if I told him that (I have a 4.3 GPA... and my school is supposed to be a "brain" school, so barely anyone goes to trade schools). So I'm thinking about an engineer of some sort.

I was conned into doing Quiz Bowl during my sophomore year. I'm good with trivia as well as useful information, so I do fairly well at tournaments. We somehow managed to get into the national championship quiz bowl thing... and were epically raped by loads of Indian and Asian kids. It really makes me wonder if they're smarter due to genetics, or if it is actually ingrained into to their minds that they absolutely have to excel in every academic way possible. In conclusion, all I know is that the Thomas Jefferson Institute of Science and Technology really made me want a beer... or several... or a handle of Jack.

I was walking down the street and came a cross a homeless man. The man asked if i could spare any change, i said no but i had a coupon for .17 hot dogs. then i heard on the the news that the space shuttle landed after 2 weeks at the space station. that news broad cast was interrupted by some breaking news that they were recalling thousands of packages of ground beef and hot dots. I wounder if that homeless man ever got any hot dogs?

@Crunch: That just sucks. My gradeschool b-ball coach played for an acted like Bob Knight...right down to the red sweater and and thrown chairs. Took the fun right out of the game. My high school, you couldn't even make the team unless your parents were big donors to school. So, I played street ball--I do miss organized ball though.

@GRX: I'm sure you have a ton of people in your ears, but here's a few things to think about. Trades are mostly unions and frequent lay offs always hit the new guys first. You can always fall back to trade school after you got a degree, getting a degree after a few years might be tougher to accomplish. College definitely isn't for everyone, but being on my own in that setting was huge for me. Above all, you have to have passion for whatever you do as a career and your councilor won't be around when you're at work so forget what he thinks.

@Skold: What the hell is that about? Very creepy
