Meltdown.....the whole wolrd is melting and we've no escape, all we can do is pray its all just a fake, all in our heads, in our dreams in our beds. Senseless leaders do nothing and promise it all, not one of them will stand up, and do anything at all. They make it all melt and we all will pay, so today sit and ponder for there may be no tomorrow, we'll all drown in this hellish puddle of sorrow.
Who's killing your mother, mother earth will desicrate if our leaders keep ***ing off and the whole world deficates. Right on our foreheads for treating her so, paybacks a ***, we'll learn that soon enough.

Sad I know, but its my first SERIOUS song so I tried.

ok, those words are more like outlines, sketches, thoughts of the song that they are about to become. write them down and sort them out over the days ahead. work the song, don't be in a rush, don't delete it, just keep going back to it and work on the phrasing. It's a good start and it can grow. nobody writes the final draft on the first try. usually it's thoughts that evolve. take some time and listen to the songs i mentioned in the other thread. it will help you to work up a cohesive theme.
i like the part about "in our dreams in our beds" who is in our leaders dreams and beds? did somebody say SATAN?

Whos killing your mother? Earth desicrates if our leaders keep ****ing off, the whole world deficates, right upon our foreheads for treating her so. Paybacks a **, soon enough that we'll know. Just get it over with, put my ashes in the urn. The devil's administration will make us all burn. Hes been blinding us for years, the wool pulled over our eyes, hes been here all along.

GUITAR PART

We're all slowly passing, now we must learn, that the evil possessing, will take us all to burn. Alone we are weak but together, we're strong, so band up together, and prevail us for long.

For the updated version, lyrics are ok, tho i have no slightest idea how to arrange them.

well, we can also close our eyes or look to another direction, but I can tell you dude, that our mother earth is bleeding and its wounds are soon fatal. There is one thing that is critical that we have life, its nature. If we snub it or do not care a *** of "global warming" It might be that even your kids will see the end.

If we look past couple ten years past, our weather was almost normal. No continous hurricane strikes, no earthquakes often, storms are gettin heavier...we have almost no snow here in Finland in last winter, all these just in around 7 years before to this day.

there no need to be a professor that you can say that its not a junk.

Doh, soz... Im from Finland and nature have big part in my heart.

@ironman,

how old are you?

were taught about global warming in school.

and FFS, it is real, we cant ignore it.

that imbecile palin is planning on drilling for more oil - not the solution at all. sign up to the kyoto agreement and STICK to it.

people need to realise its real and is happening now.

ontopic - the lyrics are generally good. i dont know how its sung, but to me i think our leaders dont do A thing would sound better than anything.

just personal opinion tho.

good effort.

got music for it too?

as emp said, weather conditions are changing and within most of our lifetimes there will be huge changes.

Yeah, I really like this. It has a good point to it. I's like to hear this when you've recorded it.

Ironman, a shame you don't even realise it's true. You should look things up before you make assumptions. Then less people will go for you.

Bodom, Global warming is an prelude in series of transactions that will lead there.
edit:
I think I should explain this a little, I cant give you explanation of every event or transaction, but I try to make this as short as possible.

Also I like to say that following is a result what will happen if we dont do like in ozfan lyrics mention. We have still hopes to stop it, but only if we do it together, every nation, every comppany and every single person to do best to avoid strenghten of global warming.

When climate warm rapidly, there will be change in ego-system that organisms and micro-organism cant adjust fast enough, even 2 degree warming can cause 1/4 wipe out of plant and animal species to year 2050.

Global warming also strengthen El Nino phenomenon that change in rains that also causes erosion, snow storms, hurricanes and even dryness.

Positive connections that strenghten global warming can cause it get out of hand. Following cause forexample, methane release rapidly, which lie under ground frost in undersea and that lead climate warm very rapidly for many degree. In that case life conditions in this planet change dramatically in every part of globe and life that is today can be almost impossible.

It is known yes, that global warming cant cause new Ice-age, but dramatic changes in life conditions in long period put men survivability on test and and every aspects are not known what happen when its get out of hand and accelerate in long period. So seriousness is recommendable in this case.

I want also give you this link...again if I remember right :)

Thanks Jazz. But I can't sing so it'll be a while until I find someone who isn't in to all the emo, boy meets girl, stuff thats the big thing right now, and whom has a decent voice.

Yeah I see what you mean. If I remember right I was giving it a slow acoustic type feel. With a vocal rhythm similar to Lennon's "Working Class Hero". idk.

Ozz, are you looking for a boy or a girl? And at what age would you prefer?

Ah, but that answer cannot be answered, Bodom, until dooms day comes.

But there's more and more proof that we'll all drown soon if we don't cut back on gas and all this pollution.

But... what I think should be done, if it was at that serious stage, or a decent time before it... is to actually stop us from doing our daily routines. Since it is our entire race (perhaps the entire land) that will be wiped out and all... no biggie.

A girl, about 19, and brunette and willing to travel on a tour bus! Muh dream gal! lol.
Seriously though, probably a guy because I'm into the whole metal and hard rock type stuff. I basicall just want to get a band going, but nobody around my area will get serious about it, nobody that I know of at least. And probably around my age, no older than sixteen prolly cuz that'd be kinda wierd with a 12 yo. guitarist and some forty something lol. No offense to Phip though your cool man.

Bod, I'm not using religion. I just thought dooms day was appropriate, due to the fact that we'll all see our doom. Isn't it lovely!

haha Ozzfan, you haven't head of To-Mera, have you? Probably the only woman I actually appreciate in metal.

Yeah, was going to say though, just make sure to not get involved with a girl if she does end up in your band. If you two break up, it can turn the whole band into a mess.

hahah, not at all Bodom. Can you play slap bass? Or those funk rhythms? I never get why people always say that. There's a massive difference between bass and guitar. Just because guitar has six strings and a Bass often has four doesn't mean anything.

Yep, I've been through that experience. It was fun while it lasted, but destroyed my greatest chance to creating an amazing and talented band. The rest of the college year I felt miserable even being in the same room as him in the end. Watching everyone make him laugh and I always wondered why I couldn't do that. Jealousy, perhaps? Oh well. Thankfully it didn't affect my grades. I still came out with AAA, so I was very pleased.

My friend (who was also in the band) was also in a relationship which went very bitter. No one should have to go through that awkward practice session, or have to choose sides. It gets pretty damn rough. They argued far too much. Which I was grateful I didn't have to go through.

I wasn't thinking of To-Mera in the last comment, it was Arch Enemy haha. But they're both awesome.

Still don't agree with you Bodom, not everyone can just do that.

Also, I think you need to play an instrument well before you can even say you can play an instrument.

I can't say so much on it really, it really does look like a draft. But I can seeit being heavy metlal as it's angry. Expand it into a song with bridges, verses and all that basic stuff, then I'm sure you can make it into something great. And also if you here a good random sentence, record it so you might later as your writing along find a way to put it in, if that sentence never goes into this song it may help in future.

Look forward to hearing a new version you might post up here, keep us updated on any further progress.
