slowing down/speeding up

hey guys is ther any way to get a program to slow stuff down, i relly wana study some solos but its hard when ther going a million billion miles an hour. i tryed audacity i dont see it.

edit:oops i accidently put it in the technique folder can a mod move it to the appropiate one.

have you tried the "change tempo" function in the "effects" menu? the sound quality won't be the best(for better sound quality you'll probably have to consider some other sound manipulating software),but that should probably do the trick.

kk ill try also how do i import vids from youtube to it?

it doesnt work...i go to the effects menu i try to click, nothing is clickable?

EMB5490: you'll have to select which part of the track you want to work on( in your case.. slow down) first. So simply click on the graph with your mouse and select the part of the song you wish to slow down. Then it'll work.
I'm assuming that you have already opened the track in audiocity, of course.If not, do that first.
