So who all saw that Richard Wright, the keyboardist for Pink Floyd past away from cancer monday? I for one am incredably sad, ive been praying for years for a full Pink Floyd reunion, but now Richard and Syd are gone, it is a true loss man. its sad.

Pink floyd was pioneers of the sound quality and vision in their music. ah, this is loss indeed. Well rest in peace, your efforts last.

emb, i don't think they were one of the best ever... not even close. they had a few shining moments where it was obvious that they had vision and talent, but i think that what they could have been was never realized.

well baud, regardless of your opinion you have to admit that they, like empirism said, were poineers of their sound quality, and their over all vision, and they were one of the first bands to add affects sucha as laser lights to their shows,

i know they were pioneers, and talented, it's just i think people really overrate them. i certainly wouldn't even consider them for position, "the best".

I agree also that they were not best... actually i have not slightest idea who or what band would carry that title, maybe Mozart, but anyway.

What comes to Pink Floyds music, one of their album is my top 5 all the time, I cant put them on order anyway... But its Dark Side Of the Moon. Someone might think that "isnt that reason that they are one of the best." Well, Ill kindly agree that, but not the best. Music is.
