I haven't seen many Kramers around me, and most ones I see are lower end. I've heard awesome things about the better ones though, especially the ones from the 80s.

emg's huh?! sounds awesome. i was thinkin of getting a fender strat and dropping david gilmour's emg set into it. Here's a Kramer Jersey Star. mine looks just like it. has 3 humbuckers! neck is smoothest ive ever played on. floyed rose kicks ass. can hit those van halen dives and squeals easy. many combinations with the pickups. 5 way toggle, on top of 2 side toggle switches that control the bridge and middle switching them from humbucker to single coils. great tone and sound out of this axe.

Yep the switchs work really good when clean and i really dont care for the 3 pickup set up,I have the action set so low that I bottom out with the pick on the middle pick up and the volume noob like Ibanz is a little to close for me,and as far a dive bombs I dont do that much either I really dont play it with a trem bar I use the back of my hand, and thats why it took me time to work the bugs out ,the trem is very sensitive and loose ,but tight if ya know what I mean.Over all I give it a 7 out of 10
