Hammerhead Rhythm Station. Be sure to get userbanks "Acoustic #3", "Acoustic #4", "TR-727", and "Cymbals". That`ll do yer.

I use EZdrummer which is about $99 retail, I also have a hardware drum machine (Alesis SR-16) i have had for years. You can pick them up for $50 anymore.

Sometimes it's good to unplug from the comptuer

This one's worth a look. It's called Hydrogen and was originally developed as an advanced drum machine for Linux operating systems (which is why I use it) but I notice their's also a download facility for Windows.

@DEEFA

Well, it works well as a drum machine, but it seems to have some bugs. For instance, you can't download the other drumkits and install them (error message), and the program seems to always open Command Promt when you execute the program.

My apologies Skold, like I said, It was designed originally for Linux operating systems. I've just had a look at the 'Hydrogen' site and I see that the Windows & Mac downloads are experimental versions hence the bugs. It's brilliant on my Linux OS though! Apologies.

Update: I'm working on a drumkit for that Hyrdogen thing. I'm gonna have a zip file of kicks, snares, cymbals, etc. If you want anything special like bongos and such, PM me.
