I want to print out some scale from the scales section but I suck on a computer and don't know how. Is there any way to do that? I don't want the whole page I just want the picture of the scale. I tried to copy and past it to word perfect and to paint shop but it didn't work.

So there are too ways to really do it.

the first is when you choose a scale on the site and choose "Get" it will put the scale in tab form at the bottom of the page. You can copy and paste into your favorite word doc and print.

The second is you may want the image of the neck. what i do is hit ctrl + alt + prt scr (print screen) this will copy an image of the program in focus (what ever was last clicked) into memory. then open up paint and paste int the new image. it should be a screen shot. then use crop to cut the crap you don't want and save it as a jpg file. you can then add it to your fav word doc or what ever

Thanks Tele, I'm setting up my guitar room but my computer is in the living room, so I am going to print off some scales and other stuff to hang on the wall. That way I don't have to come in here every time I am having trouble with something.

Thanks again.

LP,
you can also use a great program called printkey 2000. It's free and it allows you to select any portion of the screen you are looking at and either print it or save it as a jpg. i have been using this program for years and i love it. easy to use and you can print exactly what you want from a page.
you can get it here..... http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file/fid,22960-order,1-page,1-c,alldownloads/description.html

The easiest way is to copy and paste to a text editor (I can't remember what it's called on windows, but it's in with the operating system). From there you can either copy and paste to your word processor or print direct.

Or, similar to phip's suggestion, why not just print screen and paste it into word?

well if you do a print screen and paste into work it will do your whole desktop. if you use ctrl + alt print scree it will thake s image of just the app in focus.

I'm slightly OCD do i have to have the edges and other stuff cut off so that's why i suggested using paint

if you have vista then the "snipping tool" is probably one of the easiest ways to do this.
