if your sweep picking i have a tough time with the arepggios that have notes on the same fret. like an a shape

so sweep picking is where you pick in one motion across a set of strings next to each other. sort of like playing a chord but each string is picked individual.

on the fretting hand you play arpeggio's but you have to pull off the string quickly as you don't want to have 2 notes ringing at the same time.

Your best to hit you tube for some lessons cuz it tough to explain, even tougher to learn.
