PA accessory question

Im planning to use POD to 1x12 70watts 16 ohm cabinet (epiphone valve junior)

but im not sure does they work? My idea is to replace an amp head with POD (line 6) it's just for practise. Does they work together straight?

This can work but, what is the output power of the pod?

hey thanks for replying, that was actually my problem that i was not sure of, for my knowledge, PoD can take over almost any equipment, so i think when i use it ill have to put output lvl to 0 and rise with caution.

is there big difference between standard and quality cables that I connect those two?

also ive understood that gaining best quality on sound, front-end output should be less than high-end`?
