So I got suckered into this whole myspace thing and decided to post a song. Please tell me what you think and how bad the singing is.

@telecrater
i just posted to the other topic (computers) but i'll repost here so you don't miss it.
I'm listening to it now, the mixing is far fucking out! I gotta start playing with my toys soon. i'd like to mix multi tracks like you are doing.

...OOOLD MAHN RIIIVEEHR!

I like the rhythm and the guitar progression. The drums have a nice mellow beat going. Everything was fine, but I really couldn't understand the vocals.

Lyric's are......

Dope Smoking g Country Song (Stoned out of My Mind)

Her words seemed so hollow, her words rang true
I didn’t see it coming, and neither would have you
You know I’ve burnt so many bridges, and I mend no fence
Failure has always been my greatest success

So I drink so I won’t think
I get high so I won’t drive
I hit that bong like cheech and chong
I’m getting stoned out of my mind
Stoned out of my mind

I’ve packed up my bags and loaded up my truck
If this is truly the end will I wish you the best of luck?
You know I never meant to hurt you, not I never meant you wrong
But before I leave I want to leave you with this song

So I drink so I won’t think
I get high so I won’t drive
I hit that bong like cheech and chong
I’m getting stoned out of my mind
Stoned out of my mind

I’m rolling down this old highway where I’m bound I can’t tell
I got one foot in the gutter and the others hot as hell

I like it. The vocals remind me of that Johny Cash song I think it's called "It ain't me" or something like that. Anyway keep it coming.

im gona be very critical... it sounds like my hebrew cantar person. thts the guy who strumms raandom chords and sings in hebrew with his horrible voice. being not so mean...tht sounded like johnny cash with a deeper voice.

I actually really liked the whole thing.
It was pretty decent
I will admit the words are hard to understand but I really do like the instrument part of it.

Good jobs.

maybe your strumming and your voice are not too god but honestly your song is good.

Thing is, it sounds like he's trying to force that country voice out of him, and it's just not working.

Singing is not bad imo, I would consider for tweaking compressor (dun sure if used). Volume levels was very balanced in song, also in your voice, but your singing was dynamic so compressor will help for getting it more clear.

Song was nice, cool Mark Knopfler feel on it :P
